DMV Mobile Unit
DMV Mobile Unit is coming to the Mascoutah Senior Center on June 14th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm!
This offers drivers a chance to renew their driver’s license or vehicle registration renewal sticker, obtain a duplicate or corrected license, or obtain an Illinois identification card.
An applicant renewing a current Illinois driver’s license or identification card need only present a current valid driver’s license or identification card. If the applicant is apply for either a duplicate or corrected driver’s license or identification card, the applicant must present TWO forms of identification.

Honoring Mascoutah Coal Miners/June Meeting
The Mascoutah Historical Society will be honoring the coal miners who worked in our five Mascoutah mines from 1861 to 1956 at the dedication of the “Tipple Wheel” miners monument erected in front of the Mascoutah Heritage Museum.
A short ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday June 18th. We invite all to help us pay tribute to our coal miners at this event. Following the dedication, the society will hold its monthly meeting with a special program on “Turkey Hill” given by Jack LeChein.
Amateur Radio Field Day
Come join the St. Clair Amateur Radio Club (K9GXU) on June 23-24 at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview for the annual ARRL Field Day.
Field day is a picnic, a camp out, practice for emergencies, and informal contest and, most of all, FUN! Meet local “hams”, learn about this interesting hobby, the community service it provides, and even get on the air!
Bring the family, everyone is welcome!
Celebration of Life for Norma Cunningham
A celebration of life for Norma Cunningham will be held Saturday, June 24 from 2-4pm at the Espenschied Chapel at the Mascoutah Cemetery.
Friends and former students are welcome to attend, to honor her life and share memories. Refreshments will be served.
Job Fair - Cambridge House of Maryville
On Tuesday, June 26, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm, the Cambridge House of Maryville will host a Job Fair event. Multiple will be accepting resumes for all shifts. The community is specifically hiring for Certified Nursing Assistants and Dietary Staff.
All who attend and fill out and application on site will be entered to win a $100 gift card.
