NGW Moves Forsaken to Highland, Crowns New Champions

Due to unforeseen circumstances, NGW Wrestling’s “Forsaken” event, originally slated for the Leu Civic Center in Mascoutah, was relocated to the Madison County Expo Hall in Highland, Illinois for this one night only. NGW released a statement explaining the decision, citing the need to accommodate repairs at the Leu Civic Center after water damage, but assured fans that the event will return to its original home next year. All tickets were honored at the new venue, allowing the show to go on without a hitch.

The night kicked off with a somber note as Chris Kade relinquished the NGW Heavyweight Championship due to injury. It was announced that the main event would feature a three-way elimination match between Logan Ridge, Dexter Roswell, and Chaotic Champion CW Graves to crown a new Heavyweight Champion.
Lexxi Green vs. Madi Monarch
In the first match, Lexxi Green triumphed over Madi Monarch, setting the tone for an exciting night of action.
El Coyote’s Hometown Victory
El Coyote, a Highland native, earned a hard-fought victory over Billy Ray and TJ Kellis in a thrilling triple-threat match, much to the delight of his hometown crowd.
Casket Match: Preacher vs. Justin Savage
In a dramatic and eerie casket match, Preacher defeated Justin Savage. After the lights mysteriously went out and came back on, Lexxi Green and Brujo Shaman appeared in the ring, helping Preacher beat down Savage and seal him inside the casket for the win.
Ricky Cruz vs. Playboy Double H
Ricky Cruz faced off against Playboy Double H in a match that ended in controversy. Playboy was disqualified after using a chair, giving Cruz the victory.
NGW Tag Team Championship: TnT vs. The Fam
In an exciting tag team contest, TnT outsmarted The Fam to become the new NGW Tag Team Champions. Using their twin advantage, they switched places in the ring, allowing the fresher brother to score a pin and secure the titles.
Main Event: Dexter Roswell Claims NGW Heavyweight Title
The night concluded with the anticipated three-way elimination match for the NGW Heavyweight Championship. Dexter Roswell outlasted Logan Ridge and CW Graves to become the new champion. After his victory, former champion Chris Kade personally presented Roswell with the belt, congratulating him with a handshake.
However, the celebration was cut short when Jason Halbert belittled Logan Ridge, who snapped in response, breaking Halbert’s finger and slapping him, effectively dissolving “The New Deal” partnership.
Despite its temporary relocation, the event delivered thrilling matches and unforgettable moments, and fans are already eagerly awaiting NGW’s return to Mascoutah next year.
