Carol M. Rasch

Carol M. Rasch, nee Graul, 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 16, 1944, in Mascoutah, IL died Friday, May 22, 2026, at La Bella of Mascoutah.

Carol worked for Mascoutah City Hall, advancing her career to become an EMT/Paramedic for the city. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert W. and Elvira, nee Ohlendorf, Graul, Sr., her husband, Benjamin Rasch, who died on Aug. 22, 2020, two daughters, Angela Sue Rasch and Tammi Rasch, siblings, Pearl (Charles) Ballot, Edna Cole, Alice (Chet) Black, Curt Graul, and Albert Graul, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Todd Rasch of Okawville, IL, Bret Rasch, Sr. of Mascoutah, IL, a foster daughter, Johanna Stevens of Mascoutah, IL; nine grandchildren, Joshua (Deborah) Rasch, Jamie (Jeremy) Underwood, Brandon Rasch, Trinity Rasch, Hayden (fiancé Ressa) Rasch, Bret (Megan) Rasch, Jr., Kyle (Alysha) Rasch, Zachary (Erin) Rasch, Brittany Rasch; several great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy (David) Wambold; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
