Mary H. Crowe, nee Schoeberle, 91, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 18, 1934, in Brighton, IL died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Dammert Care Center, Belleville, IL.

Mary graduated from Carlinville High School in 1952 and graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Alton, IL in 1955 as a registered nurse. Mary worked her whole nursing career employed with St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Mascoutah, HCCCW, and Society of St. Vincent DePaul.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Anna, nee Lucker, Schoeberle, husband, Charles L. Crowe whom she married in Brighton, IL on June 11, 1960, and who died April 5, 2021, son, Jonathan Crowe, son-in-law, Brett Blume, and two brothers, Father John Schoeberle, OMI and Raymond (Virginia) Schoeberle.

Surviving are her children, Mary Ann (Andy) Chappell, Kathy Blume, Greg (Melanie) Crowe; three grandchildren, Ryan (Kate) Crowe, Grace Crowe, and Devin Blume; sister, Elizabeth Schoeberle; brother, Robert (Rosemary) Schoeberle; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff celebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
