Victor P. Walter

Victor P. Walter, 89, of Mascoutah, IL born June 26, 1936, in St. Rose, IL, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home.

Victor was the owner and operator of Top Priority Roofing for 15 years and a member of Calvary Life Church in Granite City, IL.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents, Karl W. and Verna, nee Voegele, Walter, his first wife, Carol J., nee Conner, Walter, who died on Feb. 21, 2021, a daughter, Cynthia Ann, two sons, Paul Douglas and Steven;  three brothers, Delmar “Dutchy,” Anthony, and Vincent, two sisters, Delores Walter and Laurine Scott, a daughter-in-law, Mary Walter, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Brenda (Robert) Bryant of Mascoutah, IL; one brother, Charles Walter; one sister, Katherine Showalter; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: From 9 to 11 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

FUNERAL:  A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Maynard officiating.  Private burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
