Donald Chris ‶Don″ Detering

Mr. Donald Chris ‶Don″ Detering, 87 of Harrisburg, Arkansas formerly of W. Covena, California departed this life Monday, February 3, 2025 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Don was born January 19, 1938 in Mascoutah, Illinois the son of Elmer and Dorothy (Pleitner) Detering. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives: Jeri (Cousins) Detering and Jodine (Metcalf) Detering, his son, Christopher George Detering, and his youngest brother, James Detering. Left to morn his passing are his brothers: Charles, Robert and Monroe and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has been chosen as final disposition. The family will have a private service. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
